About GreatSchools

About the ratings: GreatSchools ratings can be identified as a starting point to help parents compare schools and should not be the only factor used in selecting the right school for your family. Zillow and GreatSchools recommend that parents tour multiple schools in person to inform that choice. The GreatSchools Summary Rating is based on several metrics. As of October 2020, the GreatSchools rating methodology continues to move beyond proficiency and standardized test scores. The latest method prioritizes student growth through measures of equity and school quality.

About Munhall Elementary
Home Of The Mustangs!

At Munhall, we pride ourselves on creating a culture of continuous learning, with our students being the fabric of our school community. Each day our students are confronted with rigorous, engaging education, which requires problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, innovation, and a growth mindset. Our staff’s primary commitment is to foster a safe environment where learning and integrity prevail.

The Munhall staff embraces this learning journey, so they are well-equipped to meet the needs of our students. Knowing the tremendous responsibility that lies before us, the team takes the initiative in extending their learning through continuous professional development. Our students, technology, and best practices are ever-changing, so our staff must grow their efficacy enthusiastically.

The success of our school is interconnected with the commitment and involvement of our parents. A key component attributed to our school’s success is the involvement of our parent community. Our excellent, student-centered PTO organizes numerous events each year to bring families into our school community while supporting the greater St. Charles community. Our parent volunteers help enhance the student experience and serve as additional role models for our students.

About Wredling Middle School Home Of The Red Hawks

Wredling Middle School first opened its doors in the fall of 1995, creating for the first time a third middle school in the St. Charles Community Unit School District 303. Wredling remained on its original site at 255 Red Gate Road until the year 2000, when as planned initially, it moved across the river to 1200 Dunham Road.

The elementary schools feeding into Wredling Middle School are Anderson, Fox Ridge, Munhall, Lincoln, and Norton Creek. Also included is a small population from Davis and Richmond. We appreciate the accomplishments our students have achieved as a result of their preparation in these schools, and we are undoubtedly fortunate to have such a supportive parent population!

We encourage partnerships with our families and our community so that together we may maximize the educational opportunities for our schools.
